It is a pack of information, products and services, reviewed locally by orthopaedic surgeons, for people who are going to have total joint replacement surgery. The Argo® pack is yours to keep and is written in an easy to understand format. Take the pack home with you and share the information with your family and friends so together you will understand the joint replacement procedure that lies ahead.

The Program is free for patients who are having a hip or knee replacement. The pack includes:

  • Booklet containing information about joint replacement surgery
  • Video and DVD which include animations of the procedure, advice from previous patients and a rehabilitation exercise program
  • Large boomerang pillow to improve patient comfort during recovery
  • X-ray carry bag to help you carry your important medical information while on crutches.
  • Discount card to purchase relevant rehabilitation equipment and aides
  • Patient ID card identifying your specific joint replacement
  • Travel wallet which can be used to store this patient ID card as well as important business cards from various medical professionals
  • Section to store medical information and any additional education material
  • Pen
